Job Description

Lead and manage a team of 7-10 development engineers working on IPCC-Express development and sustenance. The management responsibilities include recruiting/retaining a strong team of engineers, performance evaluation, salary planning and budgeting. Project responsibilities include working with local and remote teams to manage projects in all aspects of project planning, tracking and execution. The candidate must have the ability to think at a high level about systems and articulate key tradeoffs in architecture design. Must be comfortable managing through collaboration and coordination activities with teams in remote locations.

- Requires experience in managing software development applications in data networking or telecom domain.

- Demonstrated experience of managing and motivating teams.

- Candidate should have good written and oral skills, be able to multi-task and drive critical tasks to completion with no supervision.

- Hands on technical expertise and ability to provide focused team leadership. Hands on experience on projects involving multi-site development and coordination.

- Candidate must have strong knowledge in SW design, architecture, implementation, test and documentation.

- Experience with application development involving OOAD, Java/J2EE, Web programming (JSP, Struts, Spring, XML, HTTP, Dojo and/or similar toolkits) on Windows/linux

- Proven project management skills with emphasis on planning, execution and product delivery, strong communication and presentation skills, and experience in cross platform development.

Highly desired:
- Understanding and hands on experience with relational databases
- Contact Center knowledge/experience
- IP telephony knowledge/experience.
- Experience in networking protocols and technologies desirable: TCP/IP, routing/switching, VoIP, Cisco CallManager, RTP, SIP, SCCP, CTI/JTAPI.

Typically requires BS/MS in CS/EE with 10+ years of industry experience in internetworking technologies and applications, with a minimum of 2 years in project management.
