Position: Technical Manager – Games2win

Reporting into : The CTO of the company who is Mahesh Khambadkone and dotted line reporting into Alok Kejriwal – CEO

Based in – Mumbai

Age & Experience - A 7-10 year work experience minimum. Around 30 years of age.

Ideal Background -
A person with
• strong technical fundamentals
• awareness of varied technologies – Java, Flash, Microsoft, Linux, AJAX
• experience in building online web destinations
• exposure to large scale product development
• and, most critically, an ability to roll-up his sleeves to solve problems.

What the job is all about - Role & Responsibility:
The person will play a hands-on ownership role of overseeing engineering on all properties of games2win, such as games2win.com, ctracer.in and and all other destinations and services offered by Games2win. The key roles will be:
• Plan and manage all development activities of our online properties, and components thereof.
• Work with the Product Team to clearly define requirements, architect solutions, and oversee the engineering of the same by internal teams and external partners
• Engage with appropriate Quality Control to ensure we release tried and tested solutions and follow best practices

Desired Profile
• Should have had experience managing execution of projects involving distributed teams
• Proficiency in Java-based web application development, strengths with databases (preferably Postgres and mySQL)
• Experience working with Macromedia Flash (ActionScript), Flash integration with applications, and know-how of Microsoft technologies (IIS, MSSQL, ASP).
• Persons with experience developing online entertainment products and communities would be preferred

Remuneration - As a practice, we have typically matched candidates existing packages + ADDED on lucrative performance incentives and of course ESOP’s.*
