We haven’t been around long, but we’ve managed to do a lot of catching up in a very short period of time.

At Valyoo, we are convinced that the internet can create valyoo for every kind of business, be it a small vegetable seller operating out of a cart or a large manufacturing house with a 1000 employees. Our mission therefore is to enable businesses to go online. We do this by offering end to end solutions that help people in creating viable business models for functioning via the internet and implementing these to achieve maximum efficiency. Our range of services can be broadly classified as program management, product development, and product marketing. We can advise companies on the most appropriate online business models, help people with ideas to transform them into viable business plans and products, create web products and applications, and promote businesses and services online. In other words, we do everything in our power to ensure that businesses are able to create and sustain an online presence that adds valyoo to their processes and products.

We are a small and closely integrated team of 15 people and our head office is located in New Delhi, India. We operate as a software team and not a top down hierarchical organization. We valyoo feedback and suggestions irrespective of whether they are provided by the senior most managers or the newest interns.

We are in the process of expanding our current team. We require self-motivated and creative individuals with good communication skills who enjoy collaborative problem solving in a cross-functional environment. Candidates should be dynamic and effective at delivering product initiatives on time and in scope. If you’ve got a passion for Web 2.0, the ability to work effectively within a team environment and a tendency to think out of the box you’ll certainly fit right in!

Usability and good design are a crucial aspect of valyoo creation in our line of work. We require web designers and user interface experts to contribute to SearchMyCampus.com as well as all our other projects. Candidates should be have experience and knowledge of web 2.0 design, good visual sense, knowledge of web marketing, design, and front-end UI development.

Preferred Qualifications

•Strong command on Adobe Photoshop, Illustrator, CorelDraw, Image Ready, Flash MX, Flex, Fireworks and Dreamweaver
•Minimum experience of one year
•Experience with PHP, subversion and javascript
•CSS and XHTML skills
•Candidate must have good understanding of typography, layout and color theory
•Experience in Web 2.0 design is an asset

Primary Responsibilities

•Conceptualizing and executing web design for websites/portals and applications
•Contributing to product planning and enhancement from a usability perspective
•Creating virals, banners and other means of online promotion
•Prototyping and translating wireframe and style guides into production pages
