Job Profile

Installation of Linux servers. Applying patches. Configuration and management of File systems. Configuration of Network properties and access policies. Configuration of NFS, DNS and NIS. Installation and configuration of infrastructure applications. Monitoring and fine tuning for system performance using system tools Management of User accounts, passwords and file/folder permission Tuning System based on customer inputs. Package administration. Systematic Troubleshooting of problems.

Experience

Knowledge and clear understanding of VOIP, SIP & Asterisks File system Management including permissions and security settings Patch and package management (preliminary processes and post processes). Knowledge on backup & restore methodology and good understanding of backup tools. Good understanding of Linux Basic Security, Networking and Shell Scripting. Good communication (verbal and written) skills. Must be an active team player. Positive attitude and a good learner.

Qualification

Engineers or Degree with 1 to 2 years experience. Preferred Certifications . RHCE – Red Hat certified Engineer.
