We are headquartered in the US with office in Gurgaon. Currently, we are looking for people interested in a start-up opportunity to work in our Gurgaon office. Job Description

• At least 3 years of professional business and consumer web development experience
• Expert knowledge in Joomla installation, configuration, administration, security, and optimization desired.
• Expert knowledge and experience in creating commercial website applications.
• Expert knowledge and experience in creating commercial Joomla components, modules, and mambots.
• Expert knowledge and experience in customizing existing 3rd party components, modules, mambots, and plug-ins.
• Ethics and ability to deliver the deliverables you promise on time.
• Exemplary written and oral communication skills
• Developing production-level code and prototypes
• Work primarily with PHP, procedural and object-oriented design, dynamic content retrieval, Unit testing techniques, debugging techniques, HTTP, MySQL and Apache
• Working within Windows and Linux and primarily open-source environment
• Writing standards-compliant complex CSS, XHTML, JavaScript, within a small group in a start-up development environment.
• Good understanding of Apache web server configurations.
• Strong knowledge of object-oriented programming model is required.
• Expert knowledge of PHP and mySQL.
• Transforming internal and client requirements into technical specifications and then into a finished Joomla website.
• Manage other PHP Developers and Web Designers.

HTML, XML, XHTML, DHTML, CSS, RSS, AJAX, Javascript, PHP, mySQL, Joomla, Microsoft Operating Systems, MS Office and Open Office, MSIE and Firefox, Dreamweaver ,Fireworks, Adobe Photoshop, Flash, and Illustrator, Zend Studio and tools.

Candidate Profile

1. Able to deal with customer requirements, unresolved situations, frequent changes, delays or unexpected events.
2. Able to remain open-minded and change opinions on the basis of new information.
3. Minimum 6 months Joomla experience or minimum 3 year PHP programming experience.
4. Able to think conceptually.
5. Excellent Written and Verbal Communication.
6. Must be fluent in English.
7. Zend Certifications a plus.

Salary Range

Above industry pay scales.
