Chief Technology Officer

We are looking for a Chief Technology Officer to lead the design and implementation of all the products at PaGaLGuY.com. The ideal candidate has extensive experience designing, building, and deploying public consumer facing web sites. We seek an experienced technologist that loves technology, thrives in a multi-disciplinary collaborative environment, and doesn’t mind rolling up their sleeves to code. The successful candidate will be one of the senior employees and will help shape the company from the ground-up.

Responsibilities include
• Lead the architectural platform design and release products;
• Design, build, and test applications;
• Help to build the development team
• Be the first to help us get to the market.
• Be a visionary and an evangelist.
Requirements
• Extensive and demonstrable experience architecting, building, and deploying large multi-tiered consumer-facing web applications;
• Experience building scalable, flexible, robust, and secure architectures for high traffic (>10,000,000 page views/day) applications – yes, you are right 10M, we already do 1M pages a day;
• Driven by agile methodologies and test-driven development;
• Willingness to “own the code” and build pieces of the system;
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills and technical team management;
• Solid knowledge of PHP/MySQL/HTML/XML/CSS/Javascript/Ajax/Flash.

Head of HR

We are looking to fill a Head of HR position who will lead the organizational to lead the HR policy, planning and development of the gang at PaGaLGuY.com. The ideal candidate should have related experiences. We seek a person who is comfortable in identifying and developing talent rigorously and consistently. PaGaLGuY.com is not your regular average joe company and does not hire the average joe person. The key role of the Head of HR would be to create avenues for continually staffing the company and also providing developmental opportunities for everyone at the company. You will be working with the top management because this is a very critical role and is considered extremely high priority at the workplace.

• Creating, refining and even redefining HR policies at the workplace;
• Manage, attract and constantly be in the lead to attract top talent in an innovative manner;
• Help create smoother, human and simpler processes to ensure ease in work;
