Job Description - Content Manager, Marketing & Content, India

 Responsibilities Include:

  • Create, gather, editorially supervise and art direct content for MySpace content pages
  • Plan, organize and control online content from conceptual stage to launch stage
  • Oversee that all pages have the correct content updates loaded through our various data management tools or 3rd party vendors
  • Ensure production service levels and delivery date commitments for all content postings and other web production tasks are consistently met
  • Work actively with internal teams and vendors to resolve any issues that may impair the ability to post content quickly and effectively
  • Research and collaborate as needed with external vendors (designers, translators, etc)
  • Develop local partnerships in India for content and events (e.g. bands touring in India, relationships with movie studios, local publications & event venues)

·         Build and maintain relationships with music, film and other content oriented industries to acquire promotional and exclusive content for MySpace’s entertainment channels in India

  • Execute programs from start to publication on the website

 

Qualifications/Experience:

  • BA/BS required
  • 3-5+ years of entertainment editorial and marketing experience
  • Passion for entertainment industry
  • Experience managing simultaneous projects and demonstrated team leadership abilities in fast-paced, innovative, creative environment
  • Must possess exceptional verbal & written communication skills & editorial skills; be familiar with troubleshooting techniques, both general and web-specific
  • Demonstrated understanding of technical, web-based concepts, Photoshop and HTML
  • Ability to work on multiple projects is essential
  • Strong attention to detail
  • Exceptional relationship-building skills
  • Excellent organization, written and oral communication skills
  • Entertainment/Digital Media industry knowledge & existing relationships
  • Bi-lingual in English and Hindi preferred
