Description
Marketing Research Analyst, Intel Corporate Marketing Research Group. Intel Asia Pacific Market Research team is looking for an experienced marketing consulting professional. In this position, you will be a consultant to the APAC Sales and Marketing management and provide strategic direction to Intel’s business efforts through the use of market intelligence and research data. Your responsibilities will include but not be limited to:
- Planning, developing, coordinating, and analyzing market research studies with a focus on emerging markets; These studies will encompass both consumer and business segments, and cover diverse topics such as market health, strengthen Intel brands, marketing campaign target identification and profiling, and program effectiveness evaluation
- Responsible for meeting with internal customers to understand and prioritize their information needs, translate these needs into research projects or analyses as appropriate, and then effectively communicate the findings from these projects and explain their implications on marketing strategy and campaigns
Qualifications
You should possess an advanced degree in Business with more than ten years of hands-on experience conducting or using market data. Currently in a strategy planning or consulting position with an ad agency, market research vendor or in a multi national corporate environment. Additional qualifications include:
- Advanced practical knowledge of qualitative and quantitative market research
- Ability to build ad hoc teams and to effectively translate and communicate research findings to a broad non-research audience
- Extensive use of secondary data research and using secondary data for addressing strategic marketing and business issues
- Ability to integrate primary and secondary research
- Demonstrated knowledge of the application of both qualitative and quantitative techniques
- While understanding of technology is not essential, would be an added advantage
- Excellent communication skills in English would be an added advantage
- Experience in marketing or business strategy would be an added advantage
