- Experience with the following technologies - HTML, DHTML, Java Script, Adobe Photoshop
- Good understanding of user experience, web page optimization & cross browser compatibility.
- Familiarity with web technology trends and the evolution of the Internet
- Ability to coordinate with web designers / developers
- Very strong writing & communication (especially listening) skills
- Detail oriented and ability to organize and take responsibility
- At least 3 years experience in web development

| Basic Function: Will manage day-to-day changes & enhancements for Shaadi.com |
| Essential Functions/Responsibilities (include but not limited to): |
- Converting design specs into html pages for customer communications and web pages.
- Working with product development to ensure consistent look and feel of the products.
- Ensuring that web pages developed meet product development guidelines as well as best standards on the web - e.g. Page download time, etc.
- Ensuring cross browser compatibility.
- Work with the search engine optimizer to ensure that the html pages meet the search engine optimization guidelines.
- Building a knowledge base of best practices and methodologies.

- Fluency with several of the following software - Word, Excel, PowerPoint, MS Project and Outlook
- Familiarity with the following technologies - HTML, XML, Scripting languages, Databases, Online advertising and mainly serach engines
- Solid understanding of sales processes and negotiation strategies
- Familiarity with web technology as well as trends and the evolution of the Internet
- A motivated self-starter with strong leadership skills
- Very strong writing & communication skills
- Ability to conduct financial analysis especially pertaining to cost/benefit and budgetary issues
- Extremely detail oriented and ability to research and organize
- Problem-solving, innovation skills and creativity are a must
- Managerial and mentoring skills are required
- Should be familiar with effective objection handling
- At least 2 years working on SEO implementations

| Basic Function: SEO expert will be responsible for all search engine optimization and paid placement services for shaadi.com. This individual will have complete responsibility for ensuring that shaadi.com appears in the top listings on search engines world-wide. |
| Essential Functions/Responsibilities (include but not limited to): |
- Being the champion of SEO services within Shaadi.com
- Continually analyzing shaadi.com listings periodically
- Developing and maintaining templates and standards for web page addition and development on shaadi.com
- Working and Brainstorming with senior management to determine future direction and growth of Shaadi.com via SEO
- Maintaining subject matter on SEO developments and techniques
- Maintaining all documentation that pertains to the above responsibilities.
- Working with content development and product development to make sure that SEO norms are being followed while publishing new pages and/or services
- Being the Point of Contact for any SEO issues.
- Training, managing and mentoring subordinates.
- Reporting activities on a weekly basis.
