Customer Relations Officer

Requirements of the position:
• Bachelor Degree - Communications, English and/or Computers
• Fluency with general desktop productivity software
• Some experience with HTML
• Familiarity with web technology and comfortable with the Internet

• Extremely detail oriented and ability to organize

• Familiar with effective objection handling
• At least 2 years experience developing the above skills.

Additional Desirable Qualities:
• Experience working with a consumer facing company preferably in a sales or marketing position
• Call center experience and/or Database marketing

Essential Functions/Responsibilities (include but not limited to):
• Communicating effectively and efficiently with Shaadi.com customers.
• Understanding and analyzing the Shaadi.com work flow and providing input to improve it.
• Recording customer feedback appropriately and providing feedback to the product development team.
• Recommending processes, templates, and standards (including escalation procedures) for customer support.
• Working with the team to develop and update the Help section and FAQs on Shaadi.com.
• Suggesting new ways as well as methods and channels to provide better customer support.
• Interfacing with walk-in customers.
• Keeping customers informed of developments at Shaadi.com via newsletters and exception reporting.
• Assisting with profile screening procedures and improving the same.
• Analyzing the various touch points with a customer and increasing interaction through automated systems for generating additional revenue.
• Helping the Manager, Customer Relations to maintain a knowledge base on customer support with information on the latest trends and best practices in the industry
• Working with the Customer Relations Manager and Lead to implement a progressive database marketing strategy.

Web Developer

Full time; Location: Mumbai
Requirements of the position:
• Bachelor's Degree
• Experience with the following technologies - HTML, DHTML, Java Script, Adobe Photoshop
• Good understanding of user experience, web page optimization & cross browser compatibility.
• Familiarity with web technology trends and the evolution of the Internet
• Ability to coordinate with web designers / developers
• Very strong writing & communication (especially listening) skills
• Detail oriented and ability to organize and take responsibility
• At least 3 years experience in web development

Basic Function: Will manage day-to-day changes & enhancements for Shaadi.com

Essential Functions/Responsibilities (include but not limited to):
• Converting design specs into html pages for customer communications and web pages.
• Working with product development to ensure consistent look and feel of the products.
• Ensuring that web pages developed meet product development guidelines as well as best standards on the web - e.g. Page download time, etc.
• Ensuring cross browser compatibility.
• Work with the search engine optimizer to ensure that the html pages meet the search engine optimization guidelines.
• Building a knowledge base of best practices and methodologies.

• Solid understanding of sales processes and negotiation strategies
