Senior Software Engineer

Requirements

• B.E. Computer Science or MCA
• Between 3 to 5 years of professional experience in java.
• Have experience in J2EE technologies (servlets, JSP, EJB, JMS) and tools/frameworks like struts, hibernate, tomcat
• Knowledge of at least one RDBMS and pl/sql
• Strong problem solving skills
• Highly self motivated and directed
• Good verbal and communication skills
• Strong and solid computer science fundamentals
• Estimation experience
• Experience using development tools like CVS, Eclipse, bug tracker systems etc.

Responsibilities

• Design and develop software solutions
• Mentor junior programmers
• Requirements gathering, analysis and issue resolution/clarification
• Effort estimations for modules, sub-systems or use cases.
• Prepare use cases and detail design documents
• Testing
• Other assigned tasks
