Description
The designer’s primary role is to design the user interface of a web based product we create. This requires great creative skills to be able to come up with the user interface from scratch. This includes creating logos, images as well. The designer should also be able to provide the identity of the product using the design. The designer should also be ready to do a little programming with javascript wherever necessary (though knowledge of javascript is not mandatory for this job).

Responsibilities
- Define/Design/Create the User Interface (including all that the UI comprises of like images, CSS etc) of the product
- Should be a creative thinker and be able to provide innovative designs
- Should be able to understand the core requirement of the product
- Prepare screen shot models
- Guide the programming team on other HCI (human Computer Interaction) issues
- Testing on multiple browsers

Position Requirements
- Minimum 3 years of work experience with web designing.
- Should have a portfolio.
- Must know HTML/CSS and web standards
- Know how to fix cross browser compatibility issues
- Should be comfortable with at least one Imaging tool like photoshop or gimp etc
- Should be able to work in a startup environment that is very dynamic and challenging
- Good oral and written communication skills
- Highly self motivated and directed
- Ability to work without a lot of supervision
- Experience in working in a team-oriented and collaborative environment
