Job Openings-Web Designer

Job Profile-Webaroo is looking for a Web Designer to join its UI design team. As a Web Designer, you will work closely with Interaction and Visual Designers and Usability Engineers in producing web based consumer products. You will be responsible for translating both product specification documents and low- and high-fidelity product prototypes into front-end interface components and templates.

Experience-

Minimum of 1-2 years experience in website interface design/development.
                

Developing interactive websites and web applications.
                

Developing mockups, wire frames and engagement in rapid prototyping and iterative design.
                

Designing and coding optimized,valid,clean and streamlined XHTML/CSS web pages.
                

Monitoring and optimizing page download/ rendering speeds.

Other/Special Requirements-

Well-versed with design tools like Adobe Photoshop/Illustrator, Flash, Dreamweaver.

Knowledge of commonly-used User experience patterns, concepts, practices, and procedures.

Understanding of browser compatibility issues.

Knowledge of implementing W3C web standards and specifications.

The ability to work autonomously and collaboratively across various teams.

Excellent communication skills and attention to detail.
